We will work with course book “Totaal 1”, which comes with free, downloadable audio materials.
Costs for the course book “Totaal” is € 55 (extra to the course fee)
The teacher will bring the course books.

Verbs and word order, how to make sentences, how to pose questions
Articles, plural forms, opposites, the use of "want/omdat/er"
How to make a telephone call in Dutch
On a touristic trip, clothing, the human body, visit the hospital
Dutch holidays, politics and the Royal House
After having completed this pre-intermediate course, it is possible to continue with the -intermediate course starting as from Janaury 2020 at the American School or earlier/later at our teaching location Sweelinckplein 9/11 in The Hague.
If courses have less than the minimum number of students, we can recommend alternatives.
At the end of the complete beginners course (level A1) you will receive the certificate "Dutch for Expats beginners course”.
For this course the “general conditions of the 10/12 week group courses on one of our teaching locations” is applicable.

In order to reach a basic knowledge of speaking and understanding the Dutch language, it is advisable for absolute beginners to attend lessons on a regular basis covering a minimum of about 45 hours of Dutch.
